I think it's less about raising boys to resist bullying but more about raising boys to resist the messages regarding hegemonic masculinity that they are receiving every single day. for it is masculinity and a need to prove one's masculinity that is the true fire behind much of the violence outlined in these texts, not necessarily just bullying.
